Joyce A. Hodge, 67, of Toledo, OH passed away on Monday, February 22, 2016 at Mercy-St. Charles Hospital. She was born on May 25, 1948 in Elkton, MD to Jess and Phoebe (Lake) Sage. Joyce worked as a housekeeper for Genesis Health Care and retired in 2014. She enjoyed collecting dolls and was a dog lover. Above all she cherished her family, especially her grandchildren.
Joyce is survived by her husband, Charles Hodge Sr.; children, Laura McClanahan, Charles Hodge Jr. and Keith Hodge; 6 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and sisters, Elizabeth and Sandy. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd., Oregon, on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 from 10-12 p.m. where the service will be held at 12 p.m. Burial will follow at St. Ignatius Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to her family.
