Joyce Dixon, 77, of Oregon, OH., formerly of East Toledo, passed away, after a long illness, at Bay Park Hospital on Friday, April 19, 2013. Joyce was born to Louis and Martha (Lewis) Miller in Toledo on January 16, 1936. She was a home maker raising her family with the love of her life, Edward Dixon Sr. Joyce enjoyed bingo, casino gaming and most of all spending time with her family.
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents and 10 siblings. She is survived by her loving husband, Edward Sr.; children, Deborah (Dave) Bissett, Susan (Jeff) Kinsey and Edward (Cindy) Dixon Jr.; grandchildren, Matthew, David, Daniel, Amanda, Diana, Amber, Courtney and Trevor; great-grandchildren, Hayleigh, Lily, Elise, Sophie, Nolan and ?; sister, Marthalou (Roy) Glass and Erma (Charlie) Felkey.
Friends and family may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S Wynn Rd., Oregon, on Monday, April 22, 2013 from 2-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Lake Township Cemetery. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the American Diabetes Association or the American Cancer Society.
