Joseph Chris Jacobs

Joseph Chris Jacobs, 62, of Toledo, OH, passed away Tuesday, December 14, 2021. He was born December 21, 1958 in Toledo, OH to Joseph and Joyce (Groll) Jacobs. In 1979, he met the love of his life, Janet, and they were married May 28, 1992 and together they raised their family. Joseph was employed for many years in the warehouse for Banner Mattress and Furniture Company, retiring when the company closed in 2018. He was a member of the National Rifle Association and enjoyed hunting, fishing, spending time outdoors and his latest hobby, playing his guitar from his heart but not quite making it to his fingertips. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. Joseph will be remembered most for his love and devotion to his family.

Joseph leaves behind his wife, Janet; his daughter, Tonee (Jason) Jacobs; his son, Joseph (Lindsey) Jacobs, Jr.; his grandchildren, Jayden, Brielle, Leah, Reece and Allie; his siblings, Darah Rogers and Jana (Leslie) Zervos; many loving nieces, nephews, extended family and special neighbors; and dear friends, Ron Kendricks, Jim Baird, Pastor Tim Reddin, and Charlie Moreno.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. where the memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Memorial contributions in his name may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
