Joseph A. Hollo, 70, of Northwood, Ohio, passed away October 17, 2024. Born on December 6, 1953, Joe was a beloved husband, father, brother and friend. He was married to Karen (Honsberger) Hollo for 45 wonderful years, and together they built a life filled with love and cherished memories.
Joe was the proud father of two daughters, Mary (Tim) Unsinger and Stephanie (Brian Miracle) Hollo, both of whom he adored. He took great pride in his family. He is also survived by his loving siblings, sister Mindy (Ken) and brothers Gary (Anita) and Steve (Amy).
Known for his incredibly friendly nature, Joe had a way of making everyone feel seen. Whether at family gatherings, neighborhood events, or just running into friends around town, Joe never missed the chance to say hello and strike up a conversation.
Joe was an avid sports fan, fiercely loyal to The Ohio State Buckeyes and the Dallas Cowboys. Game days were an event in the Hollo household, where Joe’s passion for his teams was infectious. He will be dearly missed but never forgotten by his family, friends , and all who knew him and will always be remembered on game day.
A celebration of life will be held at the Christ Dunberger American Legion Post 537 located at 4925 Pickle Rd. in Oregon, Ohio on Friday October 25, 2024 from 3 until 7 p.m. with a memorial service 5:30 p.m.
