Joseph J.D. “Joe” Fazenbaker, age 14, of Toledo, OH passed suddenly on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at Mercy St. Vincent Hospital. He was born May 21, 2000 to Gary Fazenbaker II and Jennifer Saunders.
Joe was an avid Panthers football fan. He enjoyed playing football for the Birmingham Trojans and the Navarre Colts. Joe also played basketball for the Eagle Academy. He will leave a large group of family and friends to miss him.
Joe is survived by his loving parents, Gary (Ruth) Fazenbaker II; siblings, Gary III and Lexie Fazenbaker and Michael Rheinbolt; grandparents, Romona Fazenbaker, Linda Nash and Chuck Saunder Martin; aunts, Deanna (Shawn) and Rosie; uncles, Nathan (Christine) and Justin (Candace); cousins, Nathan II, Deven, Kylee, Justin Jr., Owen, Guyol, Azha, Brianna, Shawn and Donnie. He was preceded in death by his mother, Jennifer Saunders and grandfather, Gary Fazenbaker.
Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon Saturday, May 9, 2015 from 10 to 1 p.m. where funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to his family.
