Josefina Agliam Joven

Josefina Agliam Joven, 79, of Millbury, OH, passed away Saturday, January 22, 2022. She was born November 19, 1942 at home on Maravilla Street, Mangatarem, Pangasinan in the Philippines to Fructuoso and Arsenia Agliam. She earned a masters degree and taught many subjects in primary education for 34 years. Josefina later immigrated to the United States with her family in 1997. She worked at the Oregon Meijer in the deli department for 15 years. She married the love of her life, Francisco, in the Philippines, and were married December 21, 1975. She was a devoted and loving mother, always placing others above herself and deeply loved her faith. She was a wonderful cook and a loving caregiver for her husband. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Josefina is survived by her loving husband, Francisco, her children, Jogelyn Joven, Jorebel Islam, and Franklin Joven; her grandson, Shaheed Islam; her siblings, Angelina Agliam, and Erlinda Agliam. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fructuoso and Arsenia Agliam, and her brother, Fidel Agliam.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Friday, January 28, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at St. Jerome Catholic Church, 300 Warner Street in Walbridge where family will greet guests after 11:00 a.m.  Burial will follow at Lake Twp. Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the family.
