Johnnie C. Pippin III, age 52, passed peacefully in his home on May 8, 2016. He was born in Detroit, Michigan on February 11, 1964. Johnnie worked for 15 years with R & R Trucking first as a salesman and then a truck driver. In his spare time, he enjoyed golfing, football and the Detroit Red Wings.
John is survived by his wife, Wanda Pippin; sons, Jeremy Carmona (Heather Fournier) and Joshua Carmona; grandson, Zander Carmona; mother, Carole Pippin and siblings, Karen (Phil) Lampert and Jayson (Anne) Pippin; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; father-in-law and mother-in law, Clayton and Linda Randolph and dear friends, Joe Stone and Joe Aho. His father, J.C. Pippin and brother in law, Michael Myers preceded him in death.
Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd, Oregon, on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 from 2-8 p.m. with the Funeral Service to begin at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday. Burial will follow at Toledo Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made directly to the family.
