John David Timofeev

John David Timofeev, age 62, of Oregon, OH, our beloved husband, father, son, and brother, passed away at Hospice of Northwest Ohio Toledo Campus with his family by his side on Saturday, January 13, 2024. He was born in Oregon, OH to Ivan and Sophie (Shimagou) Timofeev on September 25, 1961. John worked for many years as a production assembly worker, most recently with TEAM Systems. He enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys and was known for his skilled gardening, which he took great pride in.  He was a member of the Bulgarian-Macedonian Cultural Society and ensemble Kitka. John was a kind and generous person who never hesitated to help someone in need. His presence will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

John leaves behind his loving wife, Shari; his children, Jessica (Aaron), and Austin; his grandchildren, Casey, Rylee, and Alexander; his mother, Sophie; his brothers, Chris (Maggie), Cosmo (Laura), and Steve (Sherry); his dear cousin, Bill (Dota); his godmother, Tanya; and his many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Ivan.

John will be laid to rest at Restlawn Memorial Park with private services. Memorial contributions in his name may be directed to the family. Arrangements are entrusted to Freck Funeral Chapel.
