John Louis Slowinski

John Louis Slowinski, age 60, of Toledo, OH, passed away Thursday, December 29, 2022. He was born in Toledo, OH to John and Patricia (Skomer) Slowinski on September 27, 1962. John was an avid 49er’s fan who liked rock and roll music and enjoyed fishing and camping, especially with his grandchildren.

John leaves behind his wife, Laurie; his children, Ciara (Josh), Tayler, Brandon (Brij), Christina, and John Jr.; his daughter-in-law, Cela; his grandchildren, Devin, Dillon, Analicia, Camareona, Lynie, Bre, Pickle, Donovan, Sahriel, Kyleigh, and Corey Jr; and his sister, Pat. He was preceded in death by his son, Dillon; his brother, Mike; and his parents.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Monday, January 9, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. John will be laid to rest at Historic Woodlawn Cemetery with his son. Memorial contributions in his name may be made to the family.
