John C. Perez, 60, of Toledo, OH passed away Saturday, June 1, 2013. He was born in Toledo, OH to Manuel and Romelia (Cortez) Perez. John was employed as a dock supervisor for Brubeck’s Greenhouse for 15 years. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. John enjoyed working on cars, deeply loved his dogs and spending time with his loved ones.
John is survived by his son, Chuck Perez; 3 grandchildren; siblings, Romelia (Armando) Herrera, Janet Torres, Jesse (Rita) Perez, Loncio Perez, Linda (Hector) Herrera, Thaimi (Jose) Ruiz, Refuigo (Jessica) Perez, Nancy (John) Sroga and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Theresa; daughter, Maria Perez; siblings, Clementina, Gaston, Galdino, Manuel Jr., Fatima and nephew, Jesse Perez, Jr.
Friends and family may visit Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S Wynn Rd., Oregon, on Friday, June 7 from 1 to 2 p.m. Services will be held that day at 2 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Toledo Human Society.
