John and Carol were avid golfers and longtime members of the Chippewa Golf Course, where he won multiple Senior Club Championships, and scored four holes-in-one.

In addition to his mother and father, John was preceded in death by his loving wife of 56 years, Carol; a sister, Carol Ann; and a granddaughter, Jon Casey.

Special thank you to Roger and Debbie Biddle, longtime close friends and neighbors of John and Carol, for their continued friendship and support over the years. Also to Jack Bullers, and Cheryl Davenport, who John also cared for very much.

A memorial gathering will held on  Saturday, September 5, 2015 at the Freck Funeral Chapel from 11-Noon where a Memorial Service will begin at Noon.  Burial will be private.  Those wishing to honor John may do so by making a donation in his name to the Ottawa County Humane Society.
