John William Agerter

April 24, 1950 — January 2, 2022

John William Agerter, 71, of Maumee, Ohio and formerly of Port Charlotte, Florida passed away on Sunday, January 2, 2022.   He was born on April 24, 1950 in Tiffin, Ohio to Edward and Joyce Agerter.  John was a graduate of Columbian High School in Tiffin.  He worked for UPS in loss prevention, retiring after 26 years.  He loved riding his Harley Davidson motorcycles and was an avid Ohio State Buckeye and Pittsburgh Steelers fan.  He also had a special place in his heart for his beloved rescue dog, Chance.  He will be dearly missed.

John is survived by his children, Heidi (Joe) Liburdi, Holly (Jack) Zaborowski, and William (Laura) St. John; grandchildren, Zachary Zaborowski, Ella Zaborwoski, Chelsea Rose, Kaela Bilski, and Damon (Kaylee) St. John; and great-grandchildren, Blaine, Brody, and Max. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial gathering will be held at the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Saturday, January 15, 2022, from 2-5:00 p.m.  Memorial contributions can be made to Humane Society of Highlands County (Sebring, FL).
