Joanna Marie Crosser

Joanna M. Crosser, age 73, of Northwood, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at ProMedica Toledo Hospital surrounded by her family.  She was born on March 1, 1951 in Toledo, Ohio to William and Darlene (Murdock) Dye.  Joanna was a graduate of Waite High School and earned her master’s degree from Lourdes College.  She worked many years in Human Resources for Mercy Healthcare (Riverside) and Page Plus Cellular.  Joanna loved to spend time with her family.  She was an avid photographer and Ohio State Buckey fan.  She also enjoyed watching Disney movies, really enjoying the Villains.  She will be dearly missed.

Joanna is survived by her husband of 51 years, Donald Crosser; children, Desiree (David) Brewer, Donald Crosser Jr., and Richard (Mary) Crosser; grandchildren, Lindsey, Danton (Elyse), Bryce (Leiah), Danielle (Stephen), Drew (Jenna), Desiree, Elise, Dianna; eight great-grandchildren; brothers, Tom Dye and David (Cindy) Dye; and her sister, Nancy Ellenberger.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Anthony Crosser.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Friday, August 23, 2024, from 4-8:00 p.m. Additional visitation will take place at the funeral home on Saturday, from 4:00-5:00 p.m. where funeral services will be held at 5:00 p.m.  Memorial contributions can be made to Northwood High School-Trip Fund or Ronald McDonald House 3883 Monroe St. Toledo, OH 43606.
