Joan M. Lott

Joan M. Lott of Oregon, Ohio passed away on her 91st birthday, Monday, January 9, 2023 at Gardens of St. Francis.  She was born on January 9, 1932 in Toledo, Ohio to Oliver and Florence (Harpan) Hall.  Joan was a 1950 graduate of Clay High School and worked as a custodian for Oregon City Schools, retiring after 18 years.  She enjoyed reading and spending time visiting with friends.  Joan volunteered as a caregiver and assisted the shut ins.  She will be dearly missed by her family.

Joan is survived by her children, Pamela (Larry) Peck, Joan (David) Church, Faith (Buck) Avery, Ralph (Jen) Lott, Mary Rohm (Scott), and Neil (Michelle) Lott; daughters-in-law, Heather Lott and Sherry Lott; 22 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren; and brother-in-law, Tom Ball.  She was preceded in death by her parents; sons, David and Mark Lott; grandson, Justin Church; brothers, James, Leon, Martin, and Thomas Hall, sisters, Mary DuPont, and Marcella “Sally” Ball.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Thursday, January 12, 2023 from 2-8:00 p.m.  Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday in the funeral home.  Burial will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park.  Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
