Joan C. Foster, 73, of Toledo, passed away Monday, November 05, 2012, at St. Luke’s Hospital. She was born in Toledo on October 6, 1939 to Charles and Marguerite (Friess) Eckhart and was a 1958 graduate of Woodward High School. She married Curtis P. Foster and was a loving wife and mother to their five children. Joan enjoyed bowling and playing bingo.
She is survived by her husband, Curtis; daughters, Tina (Gary) Wietrzykowski and Beth Foster; sons, David, Darrell and Matthew Foster; eight grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; sister, Ruth Jeko and brother, Wayne Eckhart. Joan was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Doris Cole and Lois Hefflebower and brothers, Merle and Ivan Eckhart.
Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 from 2-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Thursday in the funeral home at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
