Jesus Alberto (Jesse) Lira

Jesus Alberto “Jesse” Lira age 57 of Toledo, passed away December 14, 2020, at Orchard Villa. Jesse was born to Rodolfo G. and Maria O. Lira on January 18, 1963, in Toledo, Ohio. He was a 1981 graduate of Clay High School and went on to work as a Quality Assurance Specialist as a Microbiologist at Con-Agra until the plant closed in 2008. Jesse was a kind, optimistic family-centered person. A great father and amazing brother, Jesse enjoyed the company of his three chihuahuas and loved to read and cook. Along with his brother, he was a car enthusiast, especially enjoying muscle cars.

Jesse is survived by his son Jesse Lira Jr.; siblings Maria (Mohammad) Jamaleddin, Reyes Lira and Rodolfo (Hillary M. Brotzman) Lira Jr., and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Friends may visit Freck Funeral Chapel on Thursday, December 17, 2020, from 4 until 8 p.m. with the Recitation of the Rosary beginning at 7 p.m. A graveside service will be held at Resurrection Cemetery at 12 noon on Friday, December 18, 2020. Memorial contributions are appreciated to the family.
