Jesselyn L. Rowland, 82, of Northwood, Ohio passed away on Monday, August 19, 2013 at the Hospice of Northwest Ohio-Toledo Center. She was born on April 16, 1931 in Ross Twp., Ohio to Jesse and Myrtle Stoner. Jesselyn was a member of Stony Ridge United Methodist Church. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, baking for the church and noodle making.
Jesselyn is survived by her children, Richard II (Susan) Rowland, Ronald (Candace) Rowland, Mark (Debra) Rowland, and Frances Rowland; 9 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sisters, Marilyn (Fred) Brown and Kathleen (Robert) Purney; brothers, Dr. John (Marge) Stoner and William (Marge) Stoner; sister-in-law, Nancy Stoner and her best friends, Patricia Dobes and Richard Hodlack. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard; son, Douglas Rowland and brother, Dean Stoner.
A memorial gathering will be held from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 24, 2013 at the Stony Ridge United Methodist Church, 5542 Fremont Pike, Stony Ridge, OH 43463, where services will follow at 11 a.m. Burial will be private.
