Jesse C. Perez

Jesse C. Perez age 72 passed away on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at Mercy St. Vincent Hospital. Jesse was born to Manuel and Romelia (Cortez) Perez in Perrysburg, Ohio on August 1, 1951. He was a 1969 graduate of Waite High School. Early in Jesse’s career, he was a truck driver before moving into management at several area stores including Kmart, Hills, and Ames retiring in the early 2000s. When Jesse was younger he loved to go camping and recently he liked to spend time outdoors working on his metal projects. Jesse was known to enjoy a beer and watch The Ohio State Buckeyes with his family.

Jesse is survived by his wife of 53 years Rita; children Manuel (Bobbijo) Perez, Ritza Perez, Crystal Perez, Dino Perez, Kelly Perez, Nancy (John) Sroga, and Miracle Perez; 18 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; siblings Loncio, Refugio (Jessica), Romelia (Armando), Thaimi, and Nancy (John); and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, sons Jesse Jr and Chris, granddaughter Marisol Perez, and siblings Manuel Jr., Tina, Linda, John, Dino, and Janet.
