Jerry Douglas Stephens, 59, of Toledo passed away on Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at Mercy St Vincent Hospital. He was born on October 22, 1952 in Trenton, TN to Ottis and Flora Stephens. Jerry married Jacqueline Estep on November 11, 1981 and together they raised 6 children. He was a truck driver for many years. Jerry enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Jackie; children: Catherine, Michelle, Lynn and Jerry Stephens Jr., Eric Estep and Nancy (Jeremy) Boyer, 20 grandchildren, 1 great-grandson, father, Ottis, sister, Terry Stephens and brother, Jeff (Lisa) Stephens. He was preceded in death by his mother.
Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd. Oregon, Ohio on Monday, August 27, 2012 from 9-1 p.m. where services will be held at 1 p.m. Burial will follow at N. Oregon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family.
