Jerry A. "Bucky" Romstadt

Jerry A. “Bucky” Romstadt, 75, peacefully passed Monday, April 30, 2018 at home with his loving family. He was a graduate of Clay High School and served in the U.S. Army. Bucky was a former member of the Walbridge V.F.W. and Otters Social Club. He loved sports and was an avid Buckeye football fan. He had quite an extensive collection of beer tap handles. Bucky enjoyed traveling to Florida and many other exciting adventures with his beloved wife and close friends.

Bucky is survived by daughters Jeri Ann (Marty) McEowen and Jennifer (Greg) Hurst; grandchildren Samantha, Miranda, Bailey, Dylan, Jessica and Jebediah; sister Darla Heath, brothers Dennis (Donna) and Jeff (Deb). Bucky is preceded in death by his wife Jean Ann and parents Gerald and Marjorie (Schwierking) Romstadt.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Sunday, May 6, 2018 from 12 - 5 p.m. where the service will begin at 5 p.m. Private burial will be observed by the family. Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
