Jerry McMillan, age 66, left this earth on Wednesday, February 27, 2013. He was born on August 11, 1946 to Worley and Minnie (Hunter) McMillan Sr. Jerry worked as a drywall installer for over 50 years. In his spare time he enjoyed watching Westerns and loved spending time with his grandchildren. The Love in this man’s heart overflowed and was a gift to all that knew him.
Jerry is survived by his loving children, Gina (Billy) Giddens, Betty (Joe) Giddens, Christina (Jody) Wells, Connie (James) Webster, Candy (Delbert) Coutcher, Chris (Rosa) Bodette; 26 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; siblings, Lonnie (Linda), Danny, Dale (Twana) and Linda (Creed). He was preceded in death by his parents; companion, Dorothy Brabb; children, Donna McMillan and Tony Coutcher; 3 grandchildren; siblings, Worley Jr. and Bobby.
Family and friends may visit Freck Funeral Chapel on Monday, March 4, 2013 from 3-7 p.m. where funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. Burial will be private. Friends wishing to give a memorial contribution are asked to consider the charity of their choice.
