Jerald H. Everhardt, 79, of Genoa, OH, passed away peacefully, Sunday, March 13, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Toledo, OH to Cleo and Gladys (Skidmore) Everhardt on October 6, 1942. Jerald enjoyed spending time on his boat and fishing but his greatest joy was spending time with his family. He was a hard-working and loyal man who, with the gift of gab, loved to talk. Jerald was a loving husband of 57 years to his wife, Patricia, a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
Jerald leaves behind his loving wife, Patricia Everhardt; his children, Troy (Dena) Everhardt and Jennifer (Ryan) Belinske; his grandchildren, Justin (DeAnna), Nathan (Tiffini), Brock, and Brodi; his great-grandchildren, Ally, Bella, Holden, and Waylon; his siblings, Paul (Gert), Evelyn, Linda, and Faye; many nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cleo and Gladys; his brother, Fritz; his sisters, Clara and Helen; and his brother-in-law’s, Arthur and Harry; and his loving dog, Samantha.
Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Friday, March 18, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. and Jerald will be laid to rest at Clay Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions in his name may be made to Allen-Clay Joint Fire District or a charity of the donor’s choice.
