Jennie Rose Rymers

Jennie Rose Rymers, age 75, of Toledo, OH, passed away Tuesday, August 27, 2024. She was born in Brownsville, PA to James L. and Rose Ann (Roman) Hoover on August 12, 1949. Jennie married the love of her life, Joseph, and together they raised their family. She enjoyed shopping and playing Boggle with her friends and family. Jennie’s greatest joy and her lasting legacy in life was the loving time she spent with her family and caring for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Jennie is survived by her husband, Joseph J. Rymers, Sr.; children, Roseanna (Raymond Sr.) Schilt, Joseph Jr. (Shawn) Rymers, and James Sr. (Andrea) Rymers; 9 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sister, Tina Marie (Dale) Macfann; best friends, Pickey Scherba and Faye Elias; and many extended family and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Rose Ann Hoover; brother, Andrew J. Hoover; grandson, Jeremy Morris.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel , 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon, OH on Saturday, September 7, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.  A celebration of life will be held after the visitation at the Fraternal Order of the Eagles #2322, 658 Lime City Rd., Rossford, OH from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Memorial contributions in her name may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Memphis, TN.
