Jeannette Susan Berg

Jeannette Susan Berg, 74, of Toledo, OH, passed away peacefully Sunday, October 10, 2021 surrounded by her family. She was born June 23, 1947 in Toledo, OH to Michael and Sophie (Danko) Kovacs.

Jeannette graduated from Waite High School in 1966.  She worked at Kmart in customer service as well as St. Charles in the house keeping department where she retired.

She enjoyed tending to her yard work and flowers.  She also cherished the time she spent with her loved ones.  She enjoyed coloring, puzzles and playing board games with her family, especially her grandchildren.  She loved to watch the news and her soap operas on TV.  She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Jeannette leaves behind her daughter, Shannon (Troy) Berg; her grandchildren, Ashley (Michael) Curnutte, and Zachary (Annalicia) Curnutte; her great-grandchildren, Silas, Rolan, Adalia; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Virginia; and her brothers, Joe, Mick, John, Jim and Jerry.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Saturday, October 16, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral service begins at 2:00 p.m. Jeannette will be laid to rest at Lake Township Cemetery at a later time. Memorial contributions in her name may be made to the family.
