Jeanne Marie D’Amato, 63, passed away peacefully Wednesday, November 7th, with her loving family by her side. She was born on February 4, 1949 in Toledo to Robert and Caroline Lutz. Jeanne was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. She is survived by her loving husband, Jim; her sons, Joe, Doug, Nick Kerschner and Jim D’Amato Jr. and her daughter, Kari Brandy. In addition, she is survived by her siblings, John Lutz, Tom Lutz, Fran Lutz and Kathy Redman and by her many loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and many caring friends. Jeanne is preceded in death by her parents, sister, Mary Joe Bowers; brothers, Terry and Tim Lutz and her loving granddaughter, Abby Kerschner.
Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd. Oregon, Ohio on Friday, November 9, 2012 from 2-8 p.m. where a scripture service will be held at 7 p.m. Funeral services will begin in the funeral home on Saturday at 9 a.m. and continue on with the Mass of the Resurrection at Good Shepherd Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Donor’s choice.
