Jayne (57) was born to Andrew Stephen and Nancyjane (Simon) Majer on October 25, 1957 and is now reunited with them going to her rest on Tuesday, July 7, 2015.
Jayne was the proud great aunt of Clayton, Parker & her favorite Kierston who received Jayne’s favorite doll Misses Beasley. She is also survived by her brothers, Steve (Patti) and Mark who lived with her at the family homestead, nephew Andrew Majer and niece Bridget (Sean) Majer-Wilson.
Jayne was the one to go to connect the dots when it came to the family tree, both the family here in the states as well as those in Hungary and other corners of the world.
In her younger years Jayne was a proud member of the Glassmen Drum & Bugle Corps, having been part of the American Flag Squad and then later the color guard. She also had a soft spot in her heart for all the residents she cared for as a nurse aide at Little Sisters of the Poor, Sacred Heart Home and Lutheran Home at Toledo.
A Memorial Gathering will be held at Freck Funeral Chapel on Saturday, July 11, 2015 from 4- 7 p.m. where a Memorial Service will be held at 7 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to Little Sisters of the Poor or Lupus Foundation of America.
