JANICE L. (DelFratte) HUMES
Janice L. Humes, 53, of Northwood, Ohio passed away Thursday, November 7, 2013 at Mercy-St. Charles Hospital in Oregon surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was born January 1, 1960 in Sharpsville, PA to Guy and Mary Ann (Caniff) DelFratte and was a 1978 graduate of Sharpsville High School.
She received her Associates Degree in Business from Owens Community College and for many years worked in various capacities for Louisville Title Co. She then worked for five years as an office manager for ReMax Executives. Janice enjoyed attending Mud Hens games and in her spare time, she enjoyed making crafts and decorating but most of all spending time with her grandchildren.
Janice is survived by her loving husband, Danny B. Humes; daughters, Heidi Humes and Adrienne (Jason) Pogrmich; grandchildren, Benjamin and Abigaile; mother, Mary Ann; sister, Sylvia (Sam) Rakyta and brother, Tom (Kim) DelFratte along with her nieces and nephews whom she deeply cherished. She was preceded in death by her father, Guy and brother, Jerrold.
Family and friends may visit from 2-8 p.m. on Monday, November 11, 2013 in the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S Wynn Rd., Oregon where the funeral service will begin at 7:00 p.m. Burial will be private. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the Mercy-St. Charles Pulmonary Rehabilitation Center.
