Janel M. Bodi, 48, passed away on November 22, 2014 in her home. She grew up in Point Place and Oregon, Ohio. Janel graduated from Clay High School in 1984 and completed the Dental Assistant Program in 1986. From there her career went into a variety of food service opportunities. She developed great skills for baking and cooking especially for her family and friends. Her hobbies consisted of gardening, Harley Davidson Motorcycles and collecting lighthouses. Her kindness, laughter and the twinkle in her eyes will be greatly missed by all.
Janel was preceded in death by her mother, Janet Kugler and grandparents. She is survived by her father and step-mother Nelson (Carol) Bodi; daughter, Hailey Mohn; brother, Kenneth Bodi; sister, Rebecca Bodi and step-brothers, Thomas, Tony and Bill Gwin.
Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd, Oregon, on Friday, November 28, 2014 from 3-7 p.m. where services will be held at 7 p.m. Burial will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
