Jane M. Duke, 81, of Oregon, Ohio passed away on Thursday, February 18, 2016. She was born on July 7, 1934 in Toronto, Canada to John and Josephine Mifsud. Jean worked as an administrative secretary for many places retiring from Raytheon. She was a youth minister for C.Y.O. from 1966 to 1970. Jean loved to sew and shared her creativity as a cake decorator.
Jean is survived by her children, Michael (Jo) Duke, Tina (Terence) Winsky and Roberta (Andrew) Gargac; grandchildren, Dean, Adam, Dylan, Daria, Zoe, Alexander and Ava. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings.
Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd., Oregon, on Friday, February 26, 2016 from 2-8 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Epiphany of The Lord Parish – Sacred Heart Church, 509 Oswald St., Toledo, Ohio, at 10 a.m. where the family will greet guests one hour prior to the Mass. Burial will follow at St. Ignatius Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Eleanor Jennings Home, Rossford, Ohio.
