James "Jim" A. Slover

July 10, 1967 — October 18, 2017

James A. “Jim” Slover Sr., 50, died Wednesday, October 18, 2017 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was born July 10, 1967 in Toledo, OH to the late James T. and Cindy (Pacheco) Slover. Jim loved his grandchildren. He enjoyed reality TV such as Deadliest Catch and Alaskan Wildlife along with Harleys, cars and camping at Sunny’s Campground in Wauseon, OH.

He was preceded in death by siblings, James O. Slover, Michael C. Slover and Evelyn Slover Beebe. James is survived by Rhonda his loving wife; children, Jay Jr. (Kenyanna), Jessi, Dan (Kim), Justin, Dylan (Angel) and Andy;11 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild; siblings, Tina Slover, Mary Ruiz, Sandra (Alan) Slover-Curtis and Johnnie Slover, many nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family wishes to thank The Cancer Center at U of M and UTMC for their wonderful care in helping Jim fight his battle.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon, OH on Thursday, October 26, 2017 from 2-8 p.m. where a funeral service will be held Friday, October 27, 2017 at 11 a.m. Memorial contributions can be made to the Lymphoma Foundation of America, 1100 N. Main St. #110, Ann Arbor, MI 48104.
