James “Stelmo” Stelmaszak, 67, of Toledo, Ohio passed away peacefully on Monday, July 16, 2012 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on September 9, 1944 in Toledo to Casper and Janet Stelmaszak. Jim worked in the Paint Shop at Jeep, retiring in 2008. He was known as a Jack of all trades who could fix anything. Jim was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, hunting and golfing. He was a member of the N.R.A. and U.A.W. Local 12.
Jim is survived by his loving wife, Tammy; children: Lisa Lewis, James M. Stelmaszak, Jason R. (Tysir) Stelmaszak and Jacob E. (Brooke) Stelmaszak; grandchildren: Cole, Haley, A.J., Zeth, Zalyn, Cobin, Cade, Cali, Aiden and Brody; sisters, Judy (Bill) Coy and Helen (Jim) Hughes. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Becky and brother, Melvin.
Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd., Oregon, Ohio on Thursday, July 19, 2012 from 2-7 p.m. where services will follow at 7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
I pray that I may
