James Edward Ridgley

James Edward Ridgley, age 66, of Toledo, OH passed away at the University of Toledo Medical Center after his battle with cancer on Sunday, May 5, 2024. He was born in Toledo, OH on April 20, 1958 to William Ridgley and Effie Yingling. James worked for many years as a trucker. In his spare time he enjoyed playing basketball and working on cars. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

James leaves behind his children, Lowella Ridgley, James Jr. Ridgley, Jennifer Ickes, William “Clyde” Ickes and step-children Brent Kromer, Bristy Kromer and Stephanie Hill and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and his siblings, Dale, John, Pamela, Brenda (Bill), Shirley, and Melvin. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his siblings, Floyd and Robert; and his companion Edith.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel , 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Friday, May 10, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be directed toward the family.
