James Lee Johnson

James Lee Johnson, age 64, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at Bay Park Hospital.

James was born on October 11, 1956 to the Robert Lee and Eva Mae (Rosencrantz) Johnson in Toledo, Ohio. He was an avid NASCAR and Raiders fan, and loved his model trains. He had a train set in the basement that he tinkered with whenever he had the chance.

James is survived by his wife of 40 years, Dolores; children Afina (Chris), Sherry (Ben) and Robert (Amanda); and 8 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and beloved dogs.

A Celebration of Life Open House will be held Sunday, January 24, 2021 at his home, 124 Burger St., Toledo, Ohio from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to Freck Funeral Chapel. Memorial contributions in his name may be made to the family.
