James is survived by his loving wife, Peggy Fulkert; children, Troy and Brandon (Laney) Fulkert; step-children, Robert LaCourse, Kristie Reed, Karrie (Marc) Landis and Kandie (Doug Lewis) LaCourse; 7 grandchildren; siblings, Karla (Kernie) Hall, Ronald (Margie) Fulkert and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Gail Frye.
Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S Wynn Rd., Oregon, on Saturday, August 24, 2013 from 4-8 p.m. where a veterans service will be held at 5 p.m. and the funeral service will be celebrated at 7 p.m. Inurnment will be private.
