James D. “Jim” Colwell, 66, of Toledo, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2017. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on April 14, 1950 to Robert and Blanche (Ruch) Colwell and was a graduate of Eastwood High School. Jim was a proud veteran who honorably served our country in the U.S. Air Force during Vietnam. He was a Diesel Mechanic with Teamsters Local 20 for 25 years until his retirement.
Jim is survived by his children, Sonja and Jimmy; stepchildren; Brian, Timberlee and Tarra; several grandchildren; brother, Robert and companion, Marsha Ford. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services have been entrusted to Freck Funeral Chapel. Burial will be private. Memorial contributions can be made to the Disabled Veterans of America.
