Jacqueline Roginski

November 9, 1937 — September 10, 2016

Jacqueline Roginski, 78, of Oregon, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Philadelphia, PA on November 9, 1937 and was a 1957 graduate of Waite High School. For many years, Jackie worked as a childcare giver at First St. John Lutheran Daycare Center. She loved gardening, travelling and spending winters in Florida but most of all she cherished time spent with her family and loved ones. Affectionately known as Gaga, Granny and Mamasita, Jackie had a mischievous fun loving nature and a contagious smile.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Thomas Roginski; children, Lori (George) Skaff, Sherri (Don) Moscrop and Dan (Robin) Roginski; grandchildren, Jodi Skaff and George Skaff III, Caitlyn McCloskey, Cassie McCloskey, J.T. McCloskey, Bridget Roginski and Emily Roginski; siblings, June (Bob) Gregory, Pattie (Bob) Lohner, David (Sharon) Dean, Jeanie (Chris) Hardman; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Nick and Stephanie Roginski and Jerianne Garber along with many dear nieces and nephews. Jackie was preceded in death by her mother, Josephine (Marigliano) Dean.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd, Oregon, on Thursday, September 15, 2016 from 5-7 p.m. with a Memorial Service to begin at 7 p.m.  Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
