Jacob “Jake” Thompson
Jacob Marvin Thompson, 32, of Oregon, Ohio passed away on Friday, December 27, 2013. He was born on November 22, 1981 in Oregon, Ohio to Tamara Tischinae and Brent Thompson. Jake was a 2000 graduate of Clay High School and was currently working in home construction. He enjoyed golfing, playing guitar, riding his motorcycle and watching sports. His favorite teams were the Miami Dolphins, Atlanta Braves, Kansas Jayhawks, Michigan Wolverines and the U.S.C. Trojans.
Jake is survived by his mother, Tamara Tischinae; father, Brent Thompson; grandparents, John and Barbara Tischinae; brothers, Lucas Robson, Brent Thompson and Ben Thompson; sister, Sarah Thompson; aunts and uncles, Doug (Taina) Romstadt, Jim Thompson, Harry Thompson and Gary (Irene) Soncrant and cousins, Hannah and Emma Romstadt.
Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S Wynn Rd., Oregon on Thursday, January 2, 2014, from 2-8 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Friday at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in North Oregon Cemetery.
