Jacob Alan Campbell, age 54, of Toledo passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio Perrysburg Center. He was born on December 24, 1959 in Washington, PA. to Russell and Edna (Stoner) Campbell. Jake worked as a custodian at the University of Toledo. Religion was a big part of Jake’s life and he led many bible study groups with his friend, John Rataczak, Ph.D. In his spare time, Jake enjoyed playing his guitar.
He is survived by his sisters, Sherry (William) Sebring, Rachael (Charles) Leonard and Bonnie (George Gregoire) Campbell; 4 step children: Heather, James, Raina and Ryan; nieces and nephews, Billy, Lucy, Charlie, Chrissy, Alan and Stephanie and 12 great nieces and nephews. Jake was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Susan (Philquist) Campbell.
Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Friday, May 2, 2014 from 2-8 pm. Funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Les Feldick Ministries.
