Herman A. Baerkircher

Herman A. Baerkircher, age 76, of Perrysburg, Ohio passed away on Monday, October 23, 2023 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio Toledo Center.  He was born on March 8, 1947 in Bucyrus, Ohio to Frederick and Lucille (Winter) Baerkircher.  Herman was a 1965 graduate of Bucyrus High School.  He worked for Farmer’s Savings before taking a job as a toll collector for the Ohio Turnpike, retiring in 2010.  Herman loved to read and listen to music.  He especially enjoyed the symphony.

Herman is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, MaryAnn Baerkircher; daughters, Marlena (Scott) Radabaugh, Maria (Brad) Knowles, Dianne (Tim) Cordell, and Barbara (Gary) Lovell; grandchildren, Lee (Lee) Cordell, Brandon (Cheryl) Hillabrand, Ty (Lauren) Cordell, Lucy, Natalie, and Tommy Radabaugh; great-grandchildren, Ray, Jack, and Charlotte Cordell; and his brother, Al (Karen) Baerkircher.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Friday, October 27, 2023, from 2-8:00 p.m.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday in the funeral home at 10:00 a.m.  Burial will follow at St. Ignatius Cemetery.  Memorial contributions can be made to Toledo Humane Society or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
