Henrietta A. Valerius, 73, of Toledo passed away on Monday, December 17, 2012 at Mercy St. Vincent Hospital. She was born on December 24, 1938 to Henry and Silvia Luzius. Henrietta worked as a nurse’s aid for 34 years for the West Toledo Health Care, retiring in 2008.
She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Gilbert F. Valerius Sr., children, Tina (James) Eck, Sandra (Jay) Butte, Barbara Shull and Lisa Valerius; 6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Henrietta was preceded in death by her parents; son, Gilbert F. Valerius Jr.; brother, James and sisters, Della and Catherine.
Friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd. Oregon, Ohio on Friday, December 21, 2012 from 10-1 p.m. where services will be held at 1 p.m. Burial will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
