Helen J. Shock, 80, of Toledo passed away on Sunday, January 31, 2016, at Mercy-St. Vincent Medical Center. She was born in Toledo on June 15, 1935 to Sola (Blanton) and Leon Charles McGee, Sr. and had worked for many years at Rudy’s Hot Dog on Sylvania Ave in Toledo.
She is survived by her children, Wanda Rost, Bill Lutz, Harry (Gertrude) Lutz, Charles Durbin and Robin Arquette; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; siblings, Dolores (Bert) Graffis, twin sister, Norma Pinkerton, Hilda Graczyz, Leon “Chuck” McGee, Jr. and Sandy (Walter) Mullins along with many dear nieces and nephews. Helen was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Shock; grandchildren, Harry Lee Lutz II and Lindsay Marie Durbin; great-grandchildren, Meguire Smith and Grace Ann Lutz and siblings, Ethel McGee, Agnes Hawblitz and Margaret Miller.
Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd, Oregon, on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 from 10 -2 p.m. with the Funeral Service to begin at 2 p.m. Burial remain private. Memorial contributions may be made to Northwest Baptist Church. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Sherry Theiss.
