Harvey J. Cedoz, 75, of Walbridge, Ohio passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2014 with his family by his side at the Heartland of Oregon Nursing Home. He had a long battle with cancer. Harvey was born on May 14, 1938 Fremont, Ohio to Harvey and Lena Cedoz. Harvey served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the American Legion Post #135 and Christ Dunberger Post #537. He ran a barber shop for 14 years in East Toledo on Woodville and E. Broadway. Harvey also worked for Toledo Edison for 25 years at the Bay Shore Plant, retiring in 1998. He was a member of Epiphany of the Lord Parish-St Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church and he was a 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus-Desoto Assembly in Fremont and River East Mother Teresa Council.
Harvey is survived by his wife, Cathlene; 2 sons, Anthony Cedoz and Stephen Cedoz and his oldest sister, Blanche Cashen. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
A memorial mass will be held on Thursday, March 6, 2014 at 10 a.m. at Epiphany of the Lord Parish at St. Thomas Aquinas Church where family will greet guest one hour prior to the mass. Memorial contributions can be made to his family.
