Harry A. Myrice, age 81, of Northwood, Ohio passed away on Sunday, November 4, 2012. He was born on May 10, 1931 to Richard and Arzella (Sullivan) Myrice in Toledo, Ohio. Harry served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a Foreman for Libbey-Owens-Ford for 42 years until retiring in 1991. Harry was a member of First St. John Lutheran Church. He loved traveling, camping, working in the yard and watching the Tigers play ball.
Harry is survived by his children Dan (Suzanne) Myrice and Jan (Don) Griffith; grandchildren, Dan Jr., Jordan and Cody Myrice, Jacob and Amelia Griffith; sisters, Wilma Dippman, Bonnie Giroux; former daughter-in-law, Linda Myrice and companion, Mary Ellen Miller. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 53 years, Janet Myrice; parents and brothers Lyle and Butch Myrice.
Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Thursday, November 8, 2012 from 2 - 8 p.m. Funeral services will be at the funeral home on Friday at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at First St. John Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
