Glenn Wend

Glenn Stephen Wend, age 63, of Oregon, Ohio passed away on Thursday, November 7, 2024. Glenn was surrounded by his loved ones as he passed. He was born on April 16,1961 in Columbus, Ohio to Gary and Guadalupe (Sanchez) Wend.
Glenn was a graduate of Columbus Brookhaven High School and he proudly served as a MP overseas in the US Army. Glenn was an avid Ohio State Buckeye sports fan. In professional sports he was a loyal follower of the Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Guardians, and Cleveland Cavaliers. In his free time he loved to attend rock concerts and enjoying music. To his friends and family he was especially known for generosity, humor, toughness, and story telling. However most of all he was revered for his role as a family protector and provider.
Glenn is survived by his mother Guadalupe, brother Geoffrey (Shelly) Wend and his nephews Gary and Grant Wend. He is preceded in death by his father Gary, brother Greg and nephew Garrett.
A funeral Mass will be held at St.Peter and Paul Church in Toledo, 738 South St. Clair Street at 4:00 P.M. on Saturday November 16th. Graveside burial at Connett Cemetery in Nelsonville, Ohio willbe held at 12:00 P.M. on November 23, 2024.
