GLENN R. HETER
Glenn R. Heter, 73, of Northwood, passed away Friday, March 1, 2013 at Bay Park Community Hospital. He was born in Ross Township, Ohio on June 11, 1939 to Dale K. and Esther (Neuderfer) Heter and was a graduate of Olney High School. Glenn worked for Roberts Ace Hardware, Inmont and Modern Tools and was a former member of the Northwood Recreation Board. He coached baseball for Northwood and in his spare time enjoyed woodworking and tinkering in his garage. Glenn loved camping and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara M. (Clark) Heter; children, Donna (Ronnie), LaVonne (Ron) and Clark (Katie); grandchildren, Rachel, Heather (Matthew), Julia and Megan; great-grandchildren, Kadence and Kendra; brothers, Dale and Carl; and sister, Bonnie; along with many nieces and nephews. Glenn was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Larry and Bruce and granddaughter, Halie.
Friends and family may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon, OH on Monday, March 4, 2013 from 2-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday in the funeral home at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Restlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider Planned Pethood, Inc. or Wood County Humane Society.
