Gilbert Mancillas

Gilbert Mancillas, 71, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, February 24, 2021.  He was born in Toledo, Ohio to Petronilo and Margarita (Aguilar) Mancillas on May 13, 1949.  Gilbert was a painter by trade with Charles Mann and later worked as peer support staff at the Zeph Center. He enjoyed spending time with his granddaughters, gardening, walleye fishing, and playing softball in his younger days. He was an active member of AA Central Office for over 20 years and was involved with the Rotary of Oregon-Northwood with his late wife Bobbi.

Gilbert leaves behind his daughters, Gina and Tina; his grandchildren, Allie and Ava; his sister, Yolanda; the mother of his children, Jane; and many nieces, nephews and cousins and extended family.  He is preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Paula; and his wife, Bobbi.

A memorial mass will be celebrated at St. Rose Catholic Church, Perrysburg, OH at a later time and Gilbert will be laid to rest at St. Rose Cemetery.  Memorial contributions in his name may be made to St. Rose Catholic Church or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
