Geraldine A Buck

Geraldine A Buck age 92 of Oregon passed away peacefully at the Elizabeth Scott Center on Sunday, November 17, 2024. Geraldine was born to Jesse and Marie (Murphy) Parker on October 11, 1932 in Toledo, Ohio. She was a 1951 graduate of Libbey High School. Geraldine was a cashier with Food Town Grocery Stores for 27 and half years until her retirement primarily working at the Starr Ave and Wheeling St. store. Geraldine was a longtime member of St. Paul Episcopal Church and active in helping with the fish fry dinners. Geraldine enjoyed going to the Oregon Senior Center several times a week and traveling to Las Vegas every fall.

Geraldine is survived by her children James (Olga) Buck, Judy (James) Ellis, and John (Barbara) Buck; grandchildren Jason (Kim) Ellis, Jesse (Dana) Ellis, Chris (Molly) Welsh, John Buck, and Casey Buck; 8 great-grandchildren; sisters Barbara (David) Starner and Rosemary (John) Wooddall and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Howard in 2012, her parents, siblings Ruth Rahla, Virginia Wiegard, Edward Parker, and Sarah Westfall; in-laws Shirley Parker and Ronald Westfall.

A memorial service will be held at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church 798 S. Coy Rd in Oregon on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at 11 a.m. where the family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Memorial contributions are appreciated to St. Paul’s Episcopal Church.
