Georgia Ann Buhr

Georgia A. Buhr, 81, of Toledo, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at MercyHealth-St. Charles Hospital.  She was born on September 17, 1939 in Toledo, Ohio to George and Frances Taylor.  Georgia was a graduate of Waite High School and worked as a secretary for the Toledo Public School Board, retiring after 30 years in the accounting department.  She volunteered at various school libraries over the years and was a member of the AFSCME #2174.  Georgia enjoyed gardening and being a girl scout leader, which she did for many years.  She will be dearly missed.

Georgia is survived by her children, Bonnie (Larry Beard) Grosjean, Susan Ward, Kathy Pylant, and Larry Knapp; grandchildren, Sarah (Justin) Ochmanek, Emily, Joshua (Carrie), Curtis, Rachelle (Kelly) Ball, and Rodney (Megan); great-grandchildren, Taylor (Samantha), Dylan, Hailey, Jazmine, Mariah, Jaxon, Joshua, Colton, Leah, Blake, Aubrey, Asher, and Eden; great great-grandson, Bentley and former husband and friend, Ralph Knapp.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bernard; brother, Richard Taylor; sister, Melissa South and son-in-law, Ken Grosjean.

A private memorial service was held for Georgia’s family.  Memorial contributions can be made to the Donor’s choice.
