George A. Myrice Sr.
George A. Myrice Sr., 61, of Curtice, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2013. He was born on December 12, 1951 in Oregon, Ohio to Everett and Helen Myrice. George served in the U.S. Army as a sharp shooter and was a member of the Teamsters. In his earlier years he worked on the Lake Freighters and the past 36 years was a truck driver owner/operator.
He is survived by his daughter, Christina; son, George Jr.; 3 grandchildren and left behind many brothers and sisters.
A memorial gathering will be held at the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd., Oregon, on Saturday, June 29, 2013 from 2-5 p.m. where a memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the family.
