Frank L. “Baldy” Reynolds, Jr., age 77, passed, on May 17, 2013. He was born on December 23, 1935 to Frank L. and Martha (Piotrowski) Reynolds Sr. He was employed as a design engineer in his younger years. Not long into his work life Frank went into business for himself starting Reynolds Fisheries which he ran for 60 years and is still in business. In his spare time Frank was a former president of the Ohio Fish Producers Association and a member of the Lake Erie Water Keepers. His hobbies were in renewable energies and being an animal lover, but fishing was truly his life.
Frank is survived by his loving wife, of 58 years, Shirley Reynolds; children, Pam Reynolds, Cindy (Bob) Basden, Mark (Jen) Reynolds and Todd (Barb) Reynolds; grandchildren, Heather, Brooke, Justin, Shelby, Brandon, Tyler, Tara, Zach and Adam 12 great-grandchildren; sister, Dorothea (Bob) Besgrove and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Claire Jean and Louise.
Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Monday, May 20, 2013 from 3-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be private. Memorial contributions can be made to the Toledo Humane Society or the donor’s choice.
